One of the scariest episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark? is The Tale of the Super Specs. The premise for “The Tale of the Super Specs” may sound silly, but it\’s one of my all-time favorite episodes.
In this episode, we learn that the super–specs are the result of an experiment gone awry, and that they were created by a scientist who was trying to find a way to make the world a better place. The experiment was a failure, however, as it resulted in the deaths of all the people who were supposed to be the test subjects.
It’s up to our heroes to figure out what happened and stop it from happening again. This episode is a great example of what makes this show so great. There’s a lot going on in this one, so I won’t go into too much detail. I’ll just say that this is an episode that will keep you on the edge of your seat for a long time.
If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend you check it out.

While the acting is memorable and the atmosphere is captivating, the real strength of this episode is in its creative ghostly premise and its ability to create a sense of uneasiness and uneasiness in the viewer.
