The ruling of the Leeper case states that if the child is under the age of 18 and the parent has the authority to do so, then the parent can educate the child at home. A home-schooled child does not have to attend public schools. However, if a child attends a private school, he or she will be required to pay a fee to the school district for attendance.
The fee is based on the number of hours a student spends in school each day. If the student attends school for fewer hours than the district requires, the fee will not be charged. In addition, parents may choose to send their children to private schools that are not subject to district-mandated attendance fees. How do you homeschool with other families?
It is possible that relatives without a guardian are not responsible for the education. The paperwork and testing should be done according to their state’s laws.
Can someone else homeschool my child ga?
The parent or legal guardian must file a Declaration of Intent with the Georgia Department of Education for each homeschool year. This is done every year. Visit the Declaration of Intent page for more information. In Georgia, children are required to attend school until the age of 16.
This age is set by law and is based on the child’s age at the time of his or her first day of school. If a child is younger than 16, he or she must be enrolled in a public or private elementary or secondary school in order to be eligible for a free or reduced-price lunch.
The Georgia Code of Regulations (GCR) states that children who are under 16 years of age are not eligible to participate in any school-sponsored extracurricular activities, including but not limited to sports, art, music, drama, and drama clubs. However, the GCR does not specify what activities are considered “school sponsored” activities.

How much does it cost to homeschool my child?
This is a lot of money for a family of four, especially when you consider that the average salary in the UK is around £25,000 a year, and the cost of living in London is £3,500 a month.
It’s also a big chunk of change for someone like me, who works part-time and doesn’t earn enough to cover the rent on a two-bedroom flat, let alone the costs of food, clothing and other essentials.
