Place the printed photo onto the candle, wrap it in some wax paper, and then heat it up with some hot air. Canon doesn’t recommend a blowdryer, but you can use an embossing gun. The photograph will be firmly embedded into the wax once the candle has melted a tiny bit.

Can you write on wax candle?
The traditional things to write on unity candles are the wedding date, the initials or full names of the bride and groom, or a Bible verse. You can use this process to match any wedding color scheme, as long as it’s not too bright or dark, because candles and acrylic paints come in a wide variety of colors.
If you’re looking for something a little more traditional, there are a couple of other options. You can also use the same technique to make a candle for a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary or anniversary party. Or, if you want to use a different color for each candle, just make sure that the colors match.
How do you print on wax paper for candles?
Get rid of any excess tissue paper by cutting around it. To hold everything in place, place a piece of wax paper over the top of the design. To melt tissue paper into a candle, use a blow dryer. The blow dryer will start to harden when you move it across the design.
Once it is hard enough you can remove it from the paper. You can also use a hot glue gun to attach the pieces together. You will need to make sure that the glue is hot enough so that you don’t burn yourself. If you do, you will not be able to use the candle anymore.

What pen writes on candles?
Posca pens are great because they can write on almost any surface. Some of the Posca projects you may remember are Story Stones and Tic- Tac-Toe Stones. They have been used to write on glass, ceramic, paper, etc. Here is a picture of one of the pens I used for this project.
The pen is made out of brass and has a brass nib. It is about 1.5 inches long and 1/2 inch wide at the widest point. You can see in the picture that the nib is very smooth and the pen writes very smoothly.
This is the first time I’ve used a pen like this and I am very impressed with it! It’s a great pen to use for writing on wax candles, as well as any other surface you can think of.
Can you print on wax paper?
Put a sheet of your waxed paper into the printer and click print. When the paper comes out of the printer, gently guide it. You have to be careful that it doesn’t roll under itself or touch itself in any other way because it will ruin the ink.
Put your image on the paper where you want it. If you are printing on a photo paper, make sure the image is the same size as the photo you will be printing.
Can you put paper in candles?
Your tissue paper may even have a bit of static, which will help it stay placed on the candle. The waxy side of the paper should be touching it. This will prevent the wax from drying out. Can you draw on a candle?

Do crayons work on wax paper?
Place the wax paper on top of the dishtowel and then cover it with a second dishtowel. With your iron on low, press and iron the wax paper until it starts to melt. Once it is cool, draw your favorite shape with a pen or pencil. Using a sharp knife cut a small hole in the center of the paper.
This is where you will place your marker. You can also use a piece of paper and draw a line on it, but I find it easier to use my pen. Once you are happy with the shape you can cut out the design and place it on a paper towel to dry.
Can you write on parchment paper?
You can write on it with a sharpie. Once dried, the ink won’t smudge. Take a picture of what you’ve wrapped. Cut a hole in the center of the pan by tracing your pan. Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit the bottom of your skillet. You can use a sharpie to draw a circle on the paper, or you can cut out the circle with a razor blade.
I prefer the latter, because it’s easier to see what I’m doing, and I don’t have to worry about accidentally cutting myself with the razor. If you want to make it a little easier, you could also cut it out with scissors, but that’s a bit more time-consuming, so I like to do it the old-fashioned way, by cutting out a square of paper and cutting it in half.
Then, I cut the square into two pieces, one for each side of my pan, using a pair of scissors to hold them in place. Once I’ve cut each piece to the size I want it to be (about 1/4-inch thick), I fold it over the other side, making sure that the edges are flush with each other.
