These stories are told from the point of view of one character, usually the protagonist, but sometimes the narrator.
We are then told that the dream was a vision of his mother, who had died a few years before. This is followed immediately by the story of how he came to see the woman in his dream, which is told through the eyes of another character.

It feels like the most savage futuristic satire ever made, a super sad true love story before a super sad true love story. Other parts are just as sad and real as the best Stephen King. I’ve never read anything like that before.
I don’t want to give away too much of the plot, but I can tell you that it’s a story about a man who has been in a coma for a long time. He wakes up one day to find that his wife has left him, and he has no memory of what happened to her.
The story is told from his point of view, so you can’t really tell what’s going on in his head, except for the fact that he’s in some kind of coma. I’m not sure how I feel about the ending, because it was so unexpected. I do know that I’ll be reading more of this book.
