One of the only neighborhoods in Queens that has the MTA is the Kew gardens. It makes it a lot easier to commute. This is a lowkey neighborhood and job opportunities are hard to come by. It is a good neighborhood to live in. I’m not sure if I would recommend this neighborhood for a first time homebuyer, but if you’re looking to buy a home in the area, I’d definitely recommend it.
