This is consistent across the shonen genre. One of the few modern shonen novels with a female main character is Kaiu Shirai’s The Promised Neverland. It is not a good idea for people who are sensitive to violence and gore to watch that series. They are also the most likely to be the main character’s love interest.
In contrast, non-sexualized ones are the characters that don’t have breasts or legs, but they do have a lot of other traits that make them attractive to the reader.
For example, a character with long legs and a big butt would be considered a “normal” character in a shounen manga, while one with short legs would probably be seen as an “outcast” or “unladylike”.
