Get a small, plain, paper bag. A brown paper lunch bag will work great for this, but you can use a colored paper bag instead. These bags can be found in the gift wrap section of the grocery store. Cut the bag in half. This will make it easier for you to cut out the pieces you want to use. I cut mine in two pieces, one for the top and bottom, and the other for each side.
The top piece should be about 1/2 inch longer than the bottom piece, so that it will fit snugly in your hand when you hold it up to the light. If you cut it too short, you won’t be able to see the inside of your bag, which is a big no-no when it comes to making a bag that will hold a lot of stuff.
So make sure it’s at least 2 inches long, or you’ll end up with a bunch of pieces that are too long to fit into your pocket. Cut out your pieces and glue them together with hot glue. Make sure the glue is completely dry before you start gluing. Don’t worry if you get a little bit of glue on your fingers, it’ll be gone in a few minutes.
