Is part 7 the reset universe?
Araki based his story in an entirely different universe, which was devoid of many things from the previous universe. Run introduced the fans to a lot of new things, but kept a few of the things that made the original series so great.
Araki had a lot of fun with this series, and it’s a shame that he didn’t get the chance to do more with it. He did a great job with the characters and the story, but it would have been great to see more of him in the future.

Part 9 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, tentatively subtitled JOJOLANDS, is preceded by the opening theme song, “JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken.”. It’s true that he canceled part 6 and 7, and I think he did it because he didn’t want to make the same mistakes as he made with the first season. He wanted to adapt it into a TV series, not an OVA. The reason why he chose not to do the second season was because it would have been too much work for him.
It was also because of the amount of money he was going to have to spend on it, which he couldn’t afford at the time. So he decided that it wasn’t worth it to continue on with it. If he had continued on, he probably wouldn’t have had the money to pay the animators, so it probably would’ve been a waste of his time and money.
Will JoJo Part 7 be on Netflix?

Has JoJo Part 6 been translated?
English translation took some time to come out in America, and even now the official English Manga translation is only on Part 6 when Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure has just been released in Japan. Japanese translation of the manga has been out for a few years now, but it’s only recently that it has become available in the US.
It’s been a long time since I’ve read it, so I can’t comment on its quality. I do have to that this is one of my favorite manga series of all time. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get around to reading it again.
